UMMC Commencement is held at the Mississippi Coliseum, a multi-purpose arena in Jackson, Mississippi.

Parking

Free parking is available on all sides of the Mississippi Coliseum, with ADA parking in the front of the building at the Mississippi Street entrance (North-facing entrance). Free shuttle service to the main doors will be available.

Elevators

There are two elevators – one just inside the front door to the right and another further down the hall, also to the right.

Seating

Marked seating for guests in wheelchairs is available, but limited. One companion seat per wheelchair is also available. 

Priority seating is available, but limited, for guests with limited mobility. Please speak with ushers upon arrival for assistance. Note: the Coliseum does not provide wheelchairs.

Please encourage guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility to arrive early for priority seating. 

No balloons, party items, posters, or signs are allowed inside the Mississippi Coliseum.

The maximum bag size allowed is 12 inches x 12 inches x 6 inches.
